Role: Prompt Engineer

Location:

New Providence, NJ Contract We are looking for a talented LLM Prompt Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on designing and optimizing prompts to generate accurate code across various programming languages. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance code generation workflows and improve model performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prompt Design & Engineering:

Develop, test, and iterate on prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate syntactically correct code in languages like Python, JavaScript, and SQL. Contextual Programming:

Ensure that the generated code aligns with user intent and incorporates contextual elements such as function inputs/outputs, documentation, and architectural patterns. Code Optimization:

Identify and fix issues in LLM-generated code, including syntax errors, inefficiencies, and performance bottlenecks. AI Model Fine-tuning:

Collaborate with the research team to enhance model capabilities and performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with teams to create tools and frameworks that streamline code generation processes. Continuous Improvement:

Research and implement best practices for prompt engineering and explore innovative techniques to enhance LLM performance in coding tasks. Key

Qualifications:

Proven experience with prompt engineering and LLMs, including GPT-3, GPT-4, Codex, or similar advanced models. Strong software development background, particularly in Python (required) and familiarity with JavaScript, SQL, C++, or Java. Deep understanding of machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and LLMOps principles. Proficient in debugging, optimizing, and automating tests for generated code.

Experience with version control tools like Git. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to enhance LLM performance for specific use cases. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
