We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Prompt Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing instructions and prompts for GPT-based models on Azure OpenAI. As a Prompt Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting effective and contextually appropriate prompts that guide the behavior of the language model, ensuring optimal responses and delivering exceptional user experiences. Your expertise in prompt engineering and familiarity with Azure OpenAI will contribute to the development of cutting-edge conversational AI solutions.
- Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and developers to understand project requirements and objectives for prompt engineering with Azure OpenAI.
- Develop and iterate on high-quality instructions and prompts that elicit accurate and contextually relevant responses from GPT-based language models.
- Leverage your expertise in prompt engineering to design and optimize prompts for different use cases, ensuring they align with desired outcomes and user expectations.
- Utilize Azure OpenAI’s tools and APIs effectively to integrate prompt engineering strategies into the model development pipeline.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of prompt effectiveness, iterating on prompts to improve model performance and address potential biases or ethical considerations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the Azure OpenAI platform and its prompt engineering capabilities, incorporating new features and methodologies into your work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and guidance on prompt engineering best practices and methodologies.
- Document prompt engineering processes, instructions, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Keep track of project timelines and deliver prompt engineering solutions within designated deadlines.
- Continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies and trends in the field of AI and natural language processing (NLP).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Strong knowledge and experience with prompt engineering techniques and methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI platform and its prompt engineering capabilities.
- Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) concepts and techniques.
- Experience in working with GPT-based models and familiarity with their prompt engineering requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address biases and ethical considerations in prompt design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
