Introduction to the job
As Legal & Compliance Lead for Technology, AI and Prompt Engineering, you will identify, implement and optimize Legal & Compliance Technology solutions.
Role and responsibilities
You will be part of the Legal & Compliance Operations and Strategy Execution Team. You will be responsible for identifying, driving the implementation, and optimizing Legal & Compliance Technology solutions to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and ensure compliance across the organization, with a particular emphasis on leveraging (generative) AI and other innovative technologies.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in coordinating learnings across the department with respect to the use of these innovative technologies, ensuring that we get the most out of these tools, and contributing to the futureproofing of the skillset of our Legal & Compliance colleagues across the world. This includes upskilling our colleagues in the new field of ‘prompt engineering’. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Education and experience
You are a seasoned expert, knowledgeable in legal and compliance technology and have gained experience in driving similar projects and programs in corporate settings. You have a strong drive and entrepreneurial mindset, enthusiastic about your field of expertise, acting as an ambassador to leverage the possibilities of technology. You are able to connect, lead and motivate others without hierarchy or authority.

Legal & Compliance defines and implements the company strategy to minimize risks while maximizing Legal and Commercial opportunities. We oversee adherence to all Legal and Compliance areas – such as antitrust, labour law, anti-bribery anti-corruption, privacy and export control. Our legal & compliance support helps steer the organization clear from non-compliance, disputes or adverse publicity that could negatively impact the reputation of ASML.
The continued expansion of ASML in new jurisdictions, coupled with an increasing number of regulations, laws and standards brings challenges.
