We are looking to reinforce our Engineering Team with a Junior software & AI engineer. Our current team is of 10 engineers from junior to very senior (15+ YoE from top organizations like Amazon, Mozilla and Spotify).

Stack & environment

• We automate web browsers using Puppeteer and running on AWS and GCP.

• We build our Frontend on React & Typescript and our Backend on Node and Typescript.

• We deploy all our apps & services multiple times a day using CI/CD.

• We have software quality as a cornerstone of our work culture.

• We have an exciting pipeline of gen AI enabled projects using OpenAI, Google and other LLMs.

• A company 100% remote Work with few in-person meeting a year. Most of our Staff is based around Vancouver, and some around Toronto as well. If we re-open an office you will not have to relocate and the remote work will remain a valid option forever.

About you

• You love software development and you are good at it

• 3+ years of experience as software developer ideally at a SaaS company

• You have a good grasp of foundational machine learning technologies and recent breakthroughs in large language models. You have played around with deploying AI apps and pipelines and want to keep growing in this area

• You know a modern web stack on front end and back end

• You have working knowledge in system / network administration or cloud admin

• You have working knowledge in term of security best practices

• You like to give and receive via knowledge sharing sessions with your peers

• You consider that your jobs goes from inception to maintenance and you keep yourself and your peers accountable for quality

• You feel comfortable to work from home with regular online conversations with peers

• You are a team player

Bonus points if you:

• Have a knack for clever prompt engineering

• Have experience with node.js, TypeScript, React, SQL, Redshift

• Knowledge of AWS or GCP, ECS or Kubernetes

• Bring your own ideas and tech stack to improve what we do
