Your role:

• Work at the intersection of business and technical teams to design, build and deploy solutions that help our clients achieve their strategic ambitions and solve their business problems
• Evaluate business architecture, processes and data to identify GenAI use cases and opportunities to unlock benefits such as improved efficiency, cost and growth
• Articulate the value case and costs of using GenAI to support an agreed outcome
• Design GenAI solutions involving machine learning, natural language processing, intelligent automation, data mining and predictive analytics that align business requirements to the client’s technology landscape
• Apply your knowledge on the available tools and capabilities, selecting the most appropriate tool to fit the business problem we are solving (including a view on vendors, products and features)
• Help Deloitte scale its GenAI transformation capability across our banking team
• Develop and generate thought leadership on GenAI, as our clients look to scale this technology across their businesses

Required skills:

• Certified and experienced prompt engineer
• Experience with multiple GenAI tools, such as Goodle Cloud AI, Microsoft Azure AI, AWS or IBM Watson creating new solutions and embedding into operational landscapes
• Experience delivering chatbots, virtual assistants and intelligent automation effectively
• Bring a view on the risks and issues (business and IT), and mitigate these through design and deployment
• Deep banking expertise and project experience
• Deep understanding of banking processes, ideally in a customer experience landscape
• Abilty to co-create new solutions that excite and address key client challenges
• Mature stakeholder engagement particularly at the intersection of technology and operations
• Manage and develop diverse teams within an inclusive team culture
• Passionate about making an impact

Assignments will be focused across the full spectrum of the Banking market across the UK and Europe will include:

• Build the future of customer service or operations using GenAI – transforming the way clients are serviced and colleague roles are structured
• Identify feasible use cases to apply GenAI tools to drive cost efficiency across the business, customer service and operations landscape
• Challenge how Banks leverage this new technology to drive wider operating model changes to teams, role definitions and skills
• Deliver complex transformations across the Banking market in the UK or internationally
• Re-design the operating model to enable the organisation of achieving strategic ambitions
• Support our clients to shape and address their risk and regulatory agenda

Connect to your skills and professional experience

Essentials:

• Proven experience within a Bank working closely with or within transformation in this space or a tier 1 consulting company with deep experience in translating technology solutions to solve business challenges (or equivalent)
• Subject matter expertise in one or more detailed areas of the Banking market (e.g. Retail or Commerical Banking industry) key banking trends e.g. transformation drivers, regulatory, economic, and business factors) or disruptive technologies (e.g. Generative AI, and Digital) that are driving change and impacting business models of key institutions
• Experience of delivering within projects or leading workstreams on transformations such as target operating model design / implementation, process re-engineering or cost reduction using Gen AI capabilities
• Able to articulate complex ideas to all levels of an organisation, and effectively lead and manage all key stakeholders and team members, resolving issues, competing demands and conflicts
• Excellent ability in Microsoft Office, particularly in Powerpoint and Excel and relevant Gen AI technologies
• An understanding of risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm’s reputation
• An understanding of the diverse requirements of clients and the need to work on projects in differing geographies and time zones

Desirable Skill Set Examples:

• Knowledge of business design and business architecture practices including process re-engineering or cost transformation
• Experience of working in Agile delivery frameworks, especially in a Banking environment environments including Scrum
• Experience and ability to operate and understand Project and Programme management disciplines including production of project plans, key quality Programme deliverables and working and delivering to strict time constraints
• Analytical capability and disciplined approach to translating technology solutions to meet the needs of the business landscape
