Position Purpose

The ChatGPT Prompts Specialist will be responsible for designing, testing, and refining prompts that optimize the performance of our ChatGPT models. This role requires a blend of creativity, linguistic skills, and technical acumen to ensure the AI interactions are natural, informative, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI language models, a knack for crafting compelling narratives, and the ability to adapt to various topics and user needs.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Design and develop prompts that enhance the performance and accuracy of ChatGPT models

• Test and refine prompts based on user feedback and performance metrics

• Collaborate with AI researchers, developers, and UX designers to integrate prompts into various applications

• Conduct research to stay updated on the latest advancements in AI language models and apply best practices to prompt engineering

• Analyze user interactions to identify areas for improvement and implement prompt modifications accordingly

• Create documentation and guidelines for prompt usage to ensure consistency and quality across different projects

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to improve AI interactions

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

• Ability to think creatively and develop engaging, contextually appropriate prompts

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to evaluate prompt performance

• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Creative Writing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• Proven experience in prompt engineering, natural language processing, or a related field

• Strong understanding of AI language models, particularly GPT-3 and GPT-4
