Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior AI Prompt Engineer to join our AI Research and Development department. In this role, you will work independently to design, test, and optimize prompts for multiple large language models (LLMs). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI technologies and enhance the performance of our AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prompt Design and Optimization: Create, refine, and optimize prompts for various use cases to improve the performance and accuracy of multiple LLMs.
• Testing and Evaluation: Develop and execute testing protocols to evaluate the effectiveness of different prompts and models. Analyze results and iterate on designs.
• Collaboration: Although working independently, you will communicate and collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to align prompt engineering efforts with broader AI development goals.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of prompt designs, testing procedures, and performance metrics.
• Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in prompt engineering and LLM technologies. Apply new techniques and best practices to improve our AI systems.
• Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to continuously refine and improve prompt performance.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts.
• Nice to have knowledge of LLM frameworks and libraries (e.g., OpenAI, GPT, BERT).
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI/ML Models: Hands-on experience working with LLMs and other AI models.
• Project Experience: Previous experience in prompt engineering, AI research, or similar projects.
• Continuous Learning: Demonstrated interest in ongoing learning and development in the field of AI and machine learning.
