AI Prompt Engineer

Marcum LLP is currently looking for an AI Prompt Engineer to join their internal IT development team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience, in prompt-engineering. Proficiency in the use of automation tools, specifically large language model is highly desired. Relevant internships will be taken into consideration when evaluating years of experience.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of prompt engineering concepts and at least 1 or 2 years of practical experience in the field.
• Experience working with LLM models such as GPT 3.5, GPT 4, Claude, Mistral, or Llama 2.
• Familiarity with machine learning, natural language processing, and AI development tools is a plus.
• Experience with programing in python or C# .net.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional level, excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Team player with a collaborative approach to innovative problem-solving.
• Demonstrable ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly and effectively.
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related field. A master s degree is preferred.

Preferred Requirements

• Fined tuning large language models
• At least 3 years of professional experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, test, and implement efficient prompt strategies to enhance the performance of AI language models.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide prompt engineering expertise.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to improve prompt design and effectiveness.
• Continuously research and integrate new technologies and methodologies to improve workflow and outcomes.
• Document processes and results, ensuring that knowledge is shared and leveraged within the team.
• Adapt to a fast-paced development environment, responding to changing priorities and deadlines with a can-do attitude.
