Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + Bonus

My client is a dynamic and innovative software development company at the forefront of AI technology. They are developing cutting-edge legal technology products powered by large language models (LLMs) and are committed to pushing the boundaries of AI to revolutionise the legal sector and enhance human experiences.

As an AI Prompt Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and refining AI language models, ensuring they generate accurate, coherent, and contextually relevant responses. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, software engineers, and product managers, to shape the next generation of AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement creative and effective AI prompts that guide the behavior of language models.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to develop, test, and iterate prompt engineering strategies.
• Fine-tune AI models to produce high-quality, context-aware, and unbiased responses.
• Explore methods to improve the coherence, relevance, and diversity of AI-generated content.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate prompt-engineered models into our products.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Proven experience in text generation, or similar AI-related roles.
• Experience in developing NLP models and systems, with a focus on prompt engineering or conversational AI.
• Advanced in programming languages such as Python, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks.
• Experience with other programming languages.
• Familiarity with AI model training, fine-tuning, and evaluation processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with large-scale AI model deployment in production environments.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications.
• Understanding of ethical considerations and bias mitigation in AI systems.
